How To Use

Have your blood pressure checked regularly. Do not stop taking Effexor XR suddenly. The stopping of using Effexor XR should be done gradually. At least 14 days should pass between stopping the use of a monoamine oxidase inhibitor and the starting of Effexor XR. In addition, at least 7 days should pass after stopping Effexor XR before starting a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Effexor XR. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medicines without talking with your doctor.
